Key Notes (borrowed from Reddbala):
Things that matter are:
a. Due-Deligence.
b. Management updates
c. Assessment of where it's headed long term and things that could possibly go wrong.
d. Objective assessment of the info provided by Mgmt.
e. Discussion about External factors that may impact the company.
f. Discussion about stock performance in relation to Market Operational Mechanisms and Dynamics.
Things that don't matter:
a. How someone is trading on Options/Stocks in the company and how many are assigned and how much they made.
b. Frustrated/Excited statements based on Price actions.
c. Things that are entertaining, without an addition of context or substance. Because of the above , I've blocked many (as I'm entitled to), as much as everyone else is entitled to. Make no mistake, no one is ever successful in investing following others. If that was true, it's easier to become Warren Buffet. There are several better places on the Internet to learn for free if needed. JMHO. GLTA!!!
Additional "Reddbala" Notes:
"Not at all ashamed to state that 100% of the failure is attributed to the importance given to the amount of Noise that gets relayed by the Market Participants."

Key Notes (borrowed from Dontlook001):
I have "x" number of shares of this and I don’t have time or the skill to do ‘swing ‘ trades around my core position like many smart ppl do here . I guess some ppl will use the term ‘dead money’ for my investment lol. But you have to look at what is the return on your investment is at the end when you cash out . I am pretty confident that my investment will at least triple or quadruple when I cash out in one year and in my book that is a very good return. And I’d be lying if I say that I am not disappointed in "x" on some occasions. GL
Follow up notes:
I have done okay as well picking up the companies I felt had future promise and did fairly well and surprisingly had higher returns than couple of my friends who trade very frequently and do swing trading, etc . Also, I learned some hard lessons back in the day when I was jumping for one stock to another trying to get rich overnight, lol . So now I mostly just invest long term.
